Returns and Refunds
We hope you enjoy your purchase and thank you for supporting small businesses online and in your community.
To ensure your satisfaction, you have 30 days from the date the item was marked by the carrier as delivered to return it to us for a full refund. The item must be in the original / new condition, cannot have been used or worn (for any period of time), cannot have been laundered, must not have odd smells or aromas, must have all of the original tags affixed and be in the original packaging. Essentially, the item must be in the same condition you received it, void of any reason it could not be sold to another customer.
The following items are exceptions to this return policy and are considered final sale at the time of purchase:
- Clearance Sale Items (clearance is defined as those items that have been discounted 30% or more);
- For hygienic reasons, underwear and swimwear;
- Perishable goods such as grooming products; and,
- Gift Cards.
Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. Whiskey Ginger cannot be held liable for lost or stolen items and recommends that customers use a carrier service who assigns a tracking number to the shipment. Returns must be received by Whiskey Ginger within 30 days of it initially being delivered to you.
In order to initiate a return, you must be issued a Return Authorization Number (RAN). To obtain the RAN, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the following information:
- The order number (listed on your invoice);
- The item(s) you wish to return (item names can be found in the “Item Details” section of the invoice); and,
- The reason for your return.
Within one business day, you will receive a response giving instructions on where to ship the item(s) and the RAN you should reference on the exterior and interior of the packaging. Any return shipped to Whiskey Ginger that does not have a RAN assigned will be rejected and returned to the sender.
Once your return has been received by us, you will be provided an email notification of either rejection (for instance, the return did not comply with the criteria outlined above) or confirmation that the return is being processed. Generally, valid returns are processed and refunds are initiated within 3 business days of receipt. You will also be provided with an email confirmation notifying you when a refund has been issued. All refunds are issued in the original form of payment. Please allow approximately 3 to 5 business days for a refund to post to your card statement or bank account. This timeframe may vary according to each card issuer or bank. Please contact your individual card issuer or bank for details.
